Anna Karina is a famous danish actress, who spent most of her life in France, where she hitch-hiked in the age of seventeen after a row with her mother. She had a quite hard childhood, her father left them and she tried to make her family love her. She acted in commercials and did modeling and acted in her first film as a fourteen-year-old girl. At seventeen, she ran to Paris, without any contacts and without ability to speak french. But some powerful people noticed her and she became a very successful model. In 1960 she met Jean Luc Godard, made films with him and also married him (in March 1961). For a role in A woman is a woman she even won an award at Berlin Festival in 1961. In 1967 she divorced Godard and in 1968 got married again (Pierre Fabre). In her later life, she continued in acting, but also directed and made screenplays, sang, married other men, and also has written four books. :))
